As the JDM community in Honolulu grew, Slater recognized a critical gap—there wasn’t a single repair shop equipped or willing to service these unique and iconic vehicles. Rather than letting his customers down, Slater turned this challenge into an opportunity and established Sky Auto Repair in 2023.
